Four years ago my middle sister, Beth, started her Freshman year at Clarion University. I was a Senior at IUP and we shared many phone calls that year…Beth would tell me about all of her college “firsts” as I shared with her all of my college “lasts.” It was a great time in both of our lives…and it is hard to believe that as of today she is officially a COLLEGE GRADUATE! Beth just graduated from Clarion University a few short hours ago with her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Proud is an understatement. I can’t even describe how happy I am for her. She has worked so hard for everything in her life, and I couldn’t be more proud to be her big sister! Beth will be working this summer and then heading back to her Alma Mater to pursue her Master’s Degree to become a SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) this fall.
Congratulations! We all love you very much! I know that I speak for everyone when I say that we can’t wait to watch you graduate again in just a few short years with your Master’s degree. Time will fly…in fact…Beth will actually graduate with her Master’s degree before I finish mine. I guess that’s what happens when I am not a full-time student (I am so thankful I have a full time teaching job) but that’s okay…someday soon I will again be graduating as well. Our littlest sister Julie will also be graduating from Clarion in a few years. She is studying to be an Athletic Trainer.
Successful sisters? We think to think so! I could keep writing, but pictures are worth so many words, so without further adieu…
