How far Along: 32 weeks 3 days today!
Size of Baby: I know that it varies, but according to one of my favorite websites, The Bump, our little jelly bean is the size of a squash…or about 15.2 – 16.7 inches long and anywhere from 2.5 – 3.5 pounds!
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I’m down 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. I’m hoping to keep steady at my current weight until delivery.
Maternity Clothes: You bet! I’m living in my Maxi Skirts now that school has started back up. I can’t believe I can now say “I’m having a baby next month!” Welcome, September!
Gender: It’s a BOY! See our reveal photo here! We are 100% set on a first name, but still don’t have a solid middle name choice. Ugh. We’ve been back and forth for months!
Belly Button In/Out: Flat as a pancake!
Stretch Marks: I’ve gotten a few new ones on my stomach, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I’m used to stretch marks. Kevin loves me, stretch marks and all 🙂
Labor Signs: Ever since school started back up last week I’ve been experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions like crazy! At first they really freaked me out, but I’m getting used to them now. They are really uncomfortable, but not painful.
Movement: Little man is still moving around lots! Every morning I awake to little kicks and jabs, and I love every second of it!
Sleep: Sleep is pretty inconsistent these days. I wake up about every two hours to go to the bathroom, and lately I haven’t been able to fall back asleep. Pregsomnia is no fun 🙁
Cravings/Aversions: I still want ice cream!
Symptoms: I’m officially waddling 🙂 I have heartburn like crazy (I did with Jonah as well and he had a head full of dark hair.) I have days where I experience some pretty intense cramping…but I’m told that it’s normal. I’m also now having Braxton Hicks contractions, which I never had with Jonah.
Feeling: I feel great aside from the cramping and the constant pressure.
Best Moment this Week: Jonah kissing my belly and saying the baby’s name unprompted! It made me tear up!
What I Miss: Nothing. I am soaking up every single minute of this pregnancy! 🙂
What I’m Looking Forward To: I don’t want to wish time away, but I really cannot wait to see this little boy!
Milestones: We’re only 5 weeks away from being full term!
Baby Milestones: Baby boy’s skin is getting smoother and he is now strong enough to grasp a finger!
Next Appointment: Tomorrow, September 4th. I will be 32 weeks 4 days. I start twice weekly NSTs this week which will continue until I deliver due to my Gestational Diabetes. Baby boy passed his first one yesterday!
