Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since my last post…so much has been going on in such a short amount of time! Jonah turned 3 on December 7th, Luca is approaching the 14 month mark, and can you believe that today I am exactly 32 weeks pregnant with Baby Boy # 3? I am here to tell you that my third pregnancy has flown exponentially faster than both Jonah and Luca’s! I’m thinking that it is most likely because I have two little ones to keep me busy…and boy do they ever keep me busy!
I have been so fortunate in my blogging endeavors to get to test out some pretty awesome gadgets. A few weeks ago, I was contacted to try out the brand new Gerber BabyNes system, and I can’t even tell you how excited I was to try this baby out and share it with all of you!
One of the most challenging parts of bringing home a new baby (especially for first-time-moms) is getting into the groove of feedings. I swear that in the first few weeks of both Jonah and Luca’s lives, sleep was the one thing I missed so desperately. Of COURSE you are in love with your new bundle of joy, but sleep deprivation is a real thing, and probably the hardest thing to work through. Baby’s needs should always come above your own, and babies need to eat…a lot, and frequently – even in the middle of the night!
There are so many products on the market today designed to make our lives easier. One of those products is the Gerber BabyNes advanced nutrition system. This little machine makes the perfect bottle in under a minute! Although many view this as a Keurig for babies, it is actually so much more.
The Wi-Fi enabled BabyNes Machine delivers superior hygiene, intuitive design, lump-free formula and a happier bottle-feeding experience for babies and parents. Benefits of being Wi-Fi enabled include being able to send information directly to your online MyBabyNes dashboard. You can get feeding alerts, view and track your baby’s nutrition and growth, receive personalized nutritional advice, place capsule orders, or set up auto-replenishment on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
There are 6 stages of formulas to choose from, inspired by breastmilk. Just as the fat, protein and calorie content of breast milk changes naturally, BabyNes formulas evolve to meet your baby’s changing nutritional needs. Instead of one baby formula and one toddler formula, Gerber has created a total of six, to deliver precise nutrition from birth to three years. There are 3 stages for newborns, 1 for babies 7-12 months old to accommodate solid food introduction, and 2 toddler formulas.
The BabyNes Machine is made without BPA and uses hermetically sealed capsules that protect the formula from contamination and a unique filter that keeps water bacteria-free. It’s unique design allows formula to flow directly from the capsule to your bottle, without contacting the machine, and lets you adjust the temperature of each bottle.
The BabyNes Machine has built-in Wi-Fi, so it can send information directly to your online MyBabyNes dashboard. You can get feeding alerts; view and track your baby’s nutrition and growth; receive personalized nutritional advice; place capsule orders or set up auto-replenishment on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
With Luca approaching being 14 months old, we decided to try one of the toddler formulas to make him a bottle. I love that you can essentially use ANY brand of bottle with this machine. It adjust effortlessly to accommodate any size, type, and brand of bottle, which is really awesome!
Our product tester gives it two thumbs up!
With our 3rd baby boy coming in 7 or so weeks, we are really excited to really try this machine out and help to make those middle-of-the-night feedings just a little bit easier. Many thanks to Gerber BabyNes for sponsoring today’s post!
